Congratulations Class of 2024!
The Class of 2024 has flown from our Nest and we couldn’t be more proud of all four of our graduating first-generation seniors, the amazing Nest Academy students and our DREAM TEAM faculty.
Thank you to YOU the amazing CHAMPIONS who believed in their dreams and ours-thankful for our village who made THIS amazing year possible.
Born in a refugee camp in Rwanda, Patrick’s journey to the United States is a testament to resilience and the power of community. Now, that he has graduated, Patrick plans to attend Wingate University to study nursing, inspired by his desire to give back and help those in need in Congo.
Thomas Nshimiyiman, a first-generation refugee born in Uganda, arrived in the United States with his mom and sister five years ago. Thomas plans to attend college, open his own restaurant, and dreams of one day sending his children to The Nest Academy.
Rachel Musongela, a first-generation refugee from Zambia, has thrived during her three years at The Nest Academy. After graduation, she plans to attend CPCC to pursue a career in law enforcement and become a police officer.
Yuleidi was born in Mexico and has been at The Nest Academy for 2 years, becoming the second in her family to graduate from the school. She plans to enter the workforce to support her family here and in Mexico, while studying Psychology.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported our graduates on their journey. From dedicated teachers and staff to encouraging family members and community partners, your unwavering commitment and belief in our students have made this milestone possible. Your contributions, whether through time, resources, or words of encouragement, have profoundly impacted their lives. Thank you for being an integral part of their success story and for helping to shape a brighter future for our graduates. Together, we celebrate this achievement and look forward to many more milestones ahead.
We also have INCREDIBLE news to share with you, you won’t want to miss it! We are making a BIG announcement this week so stay tuned!
