Living by faith and believing God for the impossible has been the Academy way since its inception. This year is no exception and we have had the daily provision of God blow us away once again! From lunches, to volunteers in the classroom, to paper products, we have prayed for these needs to be met and THEY HAVE!!!
Mountain Island Charter School (MICS) student government, and two AWESOME teachers, Courage Molina and Tony Stallings organized a paper products drive and came to visit us with a BUS LOAD of a few of the students who organized the drive and a FULL BUS OF PAPER PRODUCTS in JUST ONE WEEK! Paper towels, toilet paper and printer paper are HUGE NEEDS, and we have been FULLY STOCKED!!! This is especially awesome because these paper products with last us ALL SCHOOL YEAR…We are down to the last few paper towel and toilet paper rolls from the last time they donated our school supplies LAST YEAR TOO that have lasted us throughout the year! WOW!
We are so thankful for the blessing this has been and for the support of another school that wants to be a part of the Academy miracle by organizing and giving back, as well as investing in our students by spending the day with us and serving an AWESOME lunch!! Days like this one make the Academy staff, students and the relationships we have with partners like MICS so great!!!
