We have officially launched our NEW Nest!!! Our first day of our NEW school year! We want to bring you along our 2018-2019 journey. Excited for this NEW thing God is doing. Pray for us today as we enter into this new season full of His promises and seeking His faithfulness.

Introducing the students of the 2018-19 school year!

We are SO EXCITED and overjoyed for all that is to come!

The literal person behind all things great at the academy…the brain behind the scene!

So thankful for this academy angel Olivia Heyward and all that she does to make life so amazing for so many people! We are honored to have her on staff, I am honored to lead with her and blessed to have her awesomeness on this journey!

So another day and another glimpse of two of God’s best for the Nest Academy. I am blown away watching these beautiful women embracing their callings here. It is a joy and a privilege to see how God uses them and what an impact they’re making. It’s day two…and God is doing major things, new things…And we are humbled here!!!

The Nest…It’s different, looks and feels differently, it’s out of the box, unconventional and we make NO apologies…this type of education is not only making life and educational change in these kids lives but it’s changing ours in the process too.

So thankful for the heart of our teacher Ms. Debbie Knudsen and her willingness to embrace her calling and for her ‘sweet spot’.

Who wouldn’t want to go to this class???

So grateful for the hearts of our Nest Academy angels!!! It is an honor to serve alongside such awesomeness.

So very proud of these young men!!!! Straight A’s for Bosco today-a first for him!!! And then this pic of the boys captured while they chose books to read.

Seriously blown away!! God is at work and it is incredible to witness on the front row, first hand. What an honor!! Thankful for such a beautiful glimpse of God today!!

It’s Friday and this completes our FIRST week of the Nest Academy!!! What a powerful week…and we’ve learned a lot.We learned that Gods best is always better than what we may think is best. And waiting on Him is not only what He desires, but always proves true to be GREATER!!!

We also learned how VERY hungry our students come to school…especially our new little ones. If you CAN and are ABLE to help us provide food for them we are asking BOLDLY for you to help us. We see that we need to feed them BREAKFAST, SNACKS and LUNCH. This is a HUGE need and we need your HELP.

We learned that first time A’s in reading make for very happy students and teachers and that what we are doing here is unique and effective. Thankful for this out of the box education we can provide.

We also learned that we are SO blessed to be able to serve these kids. They are TRULY precious and their JOY is contagious. We are ALL so BLOWN AWAY at the PEACE there is in the academy this year and the happiness on their faces make this all SO WORTH IT!!

What a blessing this week has been!!!
