Friday Chapel continues to be our favorite part of the week, as we have had so many amazing speakers come to share their life experiences, devotions and encouragement, and real life biblical application. We are so blessed to have so many that have taken the time out of their schedules to make these Friday experiences so fruitful!!!
Last week we were blessed with Elevation Church’s Heather Bishop. Heather and her husband John Bishop are part of the original faithful few leaders of the early days of Elevation Church and have lead, served and grown with the church through the years. They moved to started Elevation Toronto a few years ago and we are thankful to have them back to partner with. Heather, now oversees and manages the E-cademy at Elevation and SHE IS THE REAL DEAL! Heather’s faith is humbling, she is a Proverbs 31 wife and mother and we are so blessed to call her friend.
Heather uniquely spoke to the students with a message and break out session of ENCOURAGEMENT. It was powerful as she had each of the students encourage and admonish one another, something we all need to do more of daily!!
Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly, as you TEACH and ADMONISH on another singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” We were encouraged to live this out even more as we are walking on this journey following Christ! Thank you Heather!!
As our school year nears its end, we are excited for next year and WHO GOD WILL BRING FOR CHAPEL.
